Opening time of main entrance
The main entrance opens one hour before curtain-up.

Discount card ready for inspection

If you have a discount card, have it ready for inspection at the main entrance. If you are using a Fidelio or 65+ card that entitles you a discount, you will need proof of identity showing your date of birth. If you are unable to produce a discount card, you will not be entitled to the relevant discount.

Avoid disappointment by arriving on time
Performances in The Amsterdam Music Theatre begin promptly, so it is necessary to arrive on time. Visitors who arrive at the theatre after curtain-up cannot be admitted into the auditorium.

Latecomers

The Amsterdam Music Theatre has a latecomers’ room for visitors who have arrived after curtain-up and cannot be admitted into the auditorium. There is space for a maximum of 10 visitors. In the latecomers’ room, you can see the first part of the performance and hear the music through speakers. If there is an interval, you may then take your seats in the auditorium. No rights may be derived from the seating in the latecomers’ room.

Use of cloakroom is free and obligatory
There is no charge for using the cloakroom of The Amsterdam Music Theatre. It is not permitted to take your coat into the auditorium with you.

Prohibited
It is not permitted to use photo or video cameras in The Amsterdam Music Theatre. No food or drinks may be taken into The Amsterdam Music Theatre.
