Book online step-by-step guide

 

You can order your tickets online in 4 steps.

1. Choose your performance
In the menu ‘programme’ or on the home page, click on the performance of your choice and the date you would like to see the performance.

2. Select your seats
Click on ‘order tickets’ and you will see the next page with the seating plan. If you cannot see it, then you do not have Java installed on your computer. You can install this software via www.java.com. If you do not want to download it, you can select ‘best available seats’, and the system will select the best seats in the section you have chosen.
Once you have selected your seats, you can also select the discount applicable to that performance by clicking on the arrow next to the seat.
Now click on ‘Complete order’ and you will see the screen with the summary of your order. Here, you can also indicate whether you would like the tickets to be sent to your home or whether you would prefer to pick them up from the box office.
If you wish, you can order more tickets (or a buffet before the performance), by clicking on ‘Order more tickets’.
When you have finished ordering, click on ‘Next’.
On the following screen, you can log in with your e-mail address and password.
If you have never placed an order before, you can register now. Take care that your e-mail address is filled in correctly, as your password will be sent to you directly by e-mail. It can sometimes happen that this e-mail ends up in your spam file by mistake.

3. Payment
You can pay by credit card (VISA, MasterCard and American Express) or iDEAL.
According to your preference, your tickets will either be sent to you by post or will be set aside for you to pick up from the box office.
There is a surcharge of € 2 per ticket to cover administrative costs.
 

4. Delivery mode
You can choose the following three options for ‘Delivery mode’.

1. “Ticketdirect” (print-at-home)
You can already print your tickets on the confirmation page of your booking. In addition the tickets will be send to you as an attachment (pdf) to your confirmation e-mail. You don’t need to print the tickets directly, but at any given moment.To print the tickets you need at least version 6 of Adobe Acrobat Reader. You can download this software here.
We kindly request you to print the tickets on a white A-4 (or letter format) paper. The barcode should be readable at the access control.

 2. Shipped
The tickets can be shipped to your address by regular mail until 10 days prior to the performance.

3. Will call
Tickets will be at your disposal at the Box office until the performance starts.

 

Your details
The Amsterdam Music Theatre uses your personal details solely for the purpose of the order itself and for our own customer database. The Amsterdam Music Theatre does not pass this information on to external parties.

Technical problems
Sometimes – if the website is extremely busy – you may find that you cannot connect to the server. If this is the case, you should try again a little later.

Surtitles

For performances by De Nederlandse Opera, there is no view of the surtitles from the seats in Section 4 and Section 6.
