Last-minute tickets for students
90 minutes before curtain-up, students can purchase tickets for € 15 (De Nederlandse Opera) or € 10 (the Dutch National Ballet and The Amsterdam Music Theatre) for performances that are not sold out, providing they can produce a valid student card. This price applies to seats in all sections of the theatre.

For performances that are sold out, numbers are handed out one hour before curtain-up in a stand-by system. Once tickets have been sold to all the people with numbers, students can then purchase a ticket with the student discount. Cultuurkaart/ Culture card
If you are a student and you are privileged with a Cultuurkaart you can use this card to pay at The Amsterdam Music Theatre. Students pay € 10,- for performances of the Dutch National Ballet and The Amsterdam Music Theatere and € 15,- for De Nederlandse Opera productions. Teachers pay € 15,- and € 20,-

With your CJP you receive a discount for all performances in The Amsterdam Music Theatre. Depending on the section you want to be seated your discount can vary from € 4,- to € 10,-


The Amsterdam Music Theatre dancers discount
If you are training at one of the Dutch dance academies, on production of your student card you can purchase a ticket for € 8 for a dance performance by The Amsterdam Music Theatre (including Nederlands Dans Theater), from one week before the performance. It is possible to book a ticket.
